I finally finished this Wallaby. It was suppose to be for me, but I didn't check the gauge and I know I should have, it turned out too big, so I will give it to my daughter for her 25th Birthday in 2 weeks. She has been asking for one for awhile, so I hope she likes it.

Surprize Stripe Wallaby
It seems like all I have been knitting lately is Shawls, so I needed a change of pace and decided to knit myself a new Wallaby. I just love this pattern. I am using Hobby Lobby's "I love this Yarn" #804 Surprize Stripe. It is knitting up great and I love the way the stripes are showing up. I finished the body of the sweater in just one day and hope to have the sleeves ready to attach tonight. Now if it will just get cooler so I can actually wear it.

Lacy Waves Poncho
I just finished knitting this poncho for my soon to be Daughter-n-Law's birthday that is coming up in October. She is a very special & loving young lady and she makes my son very happy, so I wanted to make her something special. It was knit with Hobby Lobby brand yarn, in Peacock.
You can get the free pattern at Knitting Pattern Central. Just click on the link listed, click on knit patterns on the left, then free pattern directory at the top, then scroll down to ponchos/Lacy Waves Poncho.
The Wonderful Wallaby
Several years ago I fell in love with a pattern called The Wallaby. The Wonderful Wallaby is a pattern booklet put out by Cottage Creations. I have had mine for a few years now. Children sizes go from 2 - 12, Adult sizes from petite - super size. All sizes have cute little names, Wanda, Willie, Wilhemina, just for a few. You can leave off the pocket & hood if you wish. You will fall in love with it.

SHAWLS
This is what I have been working on this past week while my computer was in the shop. I managed to get 3.5 shawls knitted. I love this pattern, and I have fallen in love with the Hobby Lobby store brand of yarn. It is wonderful. Very easy to knit with and so soft.
